Meeting with God

How far is your lord from you?


It's said that God has got a big wall at the entrance of his darbar. The door of this entrance is very narrow.
One carrying a high attitude and proud is too lengthy to enter in. One needs to drop all of his sense before entering. Only after dropping all of your knowledge one gets to see the Supreme Lord.


It is described in Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji by Kabir ji as

ਤੁਝ ਬਿਨੁ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਕਰੈ ਕੋ ਮੇਰੀ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਦੀਜੈ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ੍ਹਿ ਕਿਵਾਰ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

thujh bin surath karai ko maeree Dharasan Dheejai Kholih Kivaar ||1|| Rehaao ||

तुझ बिनु सुरति करै को मेरी दरसनु दीजै खोल्हि किवार ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

Who else can take care of me, other than You? Please open Your door, and grant me the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan. ||1||Pause||

How does one feel on meeting with Lord?

One gets such excitement on meeting with god that he wants to express his feeling to the world. However, he feels scarcity of words for describing him. In Guru Granth Sahib Ji this is compared with the mute, who tastes the sweet candy and is extremely happy but unable to describe his happiness to the world. Only thing he can do is to smile.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੰਤਨ ਰਸੁ ਆਈ ਹੈ ਜਿਉ ਚਾਖਿ ਗੂੰਗਾ ਮੁਸਕਾਰੈ ॥੨॥੧॥੨੦॥

Kahu Naanak Santhan ras aaee hai Jio Chaakh Goongaa Musakaarai ||2||1||20||

कहु नानक संतन रसु आई है जिउ चाखि गूंगा मुसकारै ॥२॥१॥२०॥

Says Nanak, the Saints savor this sublime essence, like the mute, who tastes the sweet candy, but only smiles. ||2||1||20||

Zinda hu Main (I am alive)

Whats alive in you?
In my point of view, your interests are alive. Your pains are alive... 
Nevertheless, while enjoying life as per interests, you usually forget the reason of being alive. 

Question that need to be answered are
for Whom are you alive?
for What purpose are you alive?

Know not just the meaning but also the purpose of being alive :-)

Sochaalaye

Soch kisi ko bhi kahi bhi aa sakti he. Insaan ise chosen place par prakat kar sakte he but Jaanwar nahi!!!

Now if you being Insaan have got the power to prakat your Soch, its important to prakat it at the right time and at the right place...agree? :D

Presentation does matter for Soch! It can be of different types depending on the situation.

To Soch on a regular basis is essential for good health (and in turn for wealth too).

Its a double meaning blog. Just replace Soch by Shouch, and read again ;)

Explore your Power

While we are being assigned a power, we are intimated the limited use and lots of rules!!!

It's said in Spider-man that with great power comes great responsibility. I think it is also important to explore the power assigned to know what all you can do. If Spider-man would not have jumped off the building roof to know if he can fly, how could he have learnt that!!!
Try coming out of window, maybe you also have got the same power.

Most of us fear to make full use of power. We utilize only the part, we are aware with and never dare to explore the rest. Until you spread your wings, you'll have no idea how far you can fly.

Some of  us fear that we might break any rules out of that long list of rules. However, what do I think is that it's up to the assignor to make proper checks and prevent us to do unwanted things. I think this is the attitude a Hacker needs to carry. "I will try whatsoever is possible. If possible prevent your application."

Be little careless,
Spread your wings and start flying,
Who knows, maybe you are Spider-Man 4 :-)

Choosing parts of yours

Do you agree, if I say that whatever you speak, listen, eat is a part of  yours!!!

If yes, it is important that we become choosy. Eating whatever you get to eat, speaking without giving a second thought to it, having a surrounding without a look back, according to me is not the way to live life.

It's important that we choose what we want to have and have what we wanted to have.

What we speak becomes a part of us! Therefore, it is important that we use our words delicately. If we are using abusive terms, then we had contained those words within us. In turn they were a part of us!

What we eat becomes a part of us! Therefore, it is important that we eat carefully.

What we listen becomes a part of us! Therefore, it is important that we take care of our company

What we see becomes a part of us! Therefore, it is important that we take care of our surrounding.

Dreams Vs Present

It's important to dream to have a chosen future. However, on the side, it's also important to value your present.  I agree that there are certain unwanted things in present that are asking you to dream.  Nevertheless , we cannot discard our present and then step ahead for the future. Present is a part of future. 

We cannot opt to ignore the unwanted things and make compromises. Staying frustrated with the situations is also not the solution.          

Such unwanted things can become inspirations. Learn to ignore them as well as let them continue inspiring you.
