Drifting with Time

How do we all simply drift with time?

Even if we have a few minutes free, we tend to open some videos to scroll through. We get an impression of being busy only achieving mediocre results.

This long weekend, I am experimenting with not watching any series or movies. Watch only meaningful content and have that free time in hand to feel just free. Do chores that come to mind and get back to a free state.

Now consider this sequence of events!

1. Have spent two good years with family during the pandemic

2. I Moved to a New City a month ago

2. It's a long weekend and two days have gone by. Independence day is being celebrated around.

3. Cooking and enjoying meals on my own.

No doubt that I am now homesick and want to be with family and friends!

It takes time to make friends in a new place. It is a massive society with thousands of flats. However, hardly people talk to each other. One remarkable fact is that this society is near to my office. I won't be surprised if at least one-third of them are working in the same company as mine. However, still there is a dearth of friends around.

Is this the phase, in which people decide to get married? Could be, this thought is crossing my mind. However, why would I want to be one person throughout his life? I am selfish to imagine that mine will be bigger than his... haha

I am fortunate that I have friends who are just a call away. I talked to a few of them today. There is an independence celebration in the society tomorrow. I look forward to socializing.

I can recall one Katha by Sant Maskeen Singh Ji in which he elaborated that all of us long for one support who is available to us all days 24x7. It is something intrinsic to human nature. Maybe I am longing for the same being distant from family. From what he explained, only such permanent support can be Almighty!

When Money Speaks The Truth Is Silent

What is truth!
& What do we call a lie?
If I look around in my office, it's hard to find one who always speaks the truth. I believe almost all of us lie at least when it comes to asking for a leave from your boss! We all are used to give excuses!

Nevertheless, does it make you a Liar?
This has become a hot topic of discussion in my friend circle.
Few say that unless your lie harms someone, you should not bother!
Few others say, believe in getting the work done.Whether it was through a truth or lie, doesn't matter. They do not think of the other consequences.
But funny part is that none of them says to be adamant and never lie!!! :D

Even so, again, when I look around at the people enjoying at the top, thinking of the ways, they would have followed to reach there, gives a thought that a person who only believes in truth and does not play strategies cannot reach there.

So, one is left with two options.Either be out of race. Look for a job where you are the only one running and would therefore be always on top Or Observer the strategies around and indulge these in you.

Because I love my career, I personally prefer the second option and would try out not to hurt anyone. However, not to hurt any one cannot be put as a constraint because when one person steps up a stair, others are automatically hurt!!!

What is required by our Boss is Lie Detector ;)

What is required by us is Rest Chair :P

Ek Keeda hone ko Maangta

Kuch paane ke liye ek keeda hone ko maangta hai.

As it is shown in Dirty Picture and Lafangey Parindey that to achieve something really tough, you need to be passionately after it. I wish we all have at least one Keeda Das in our life who recognizes our talent and gives wings to it. However, if not, we can of course have a Keeda inside us that constantly asks us to get more for it.

Even so, would achieving something make the keeda suppress?
I think "NO". As you keep on achieving or say to arrange the food for the keeda, it would continue growing. I believe this is when one becomes greedy and looses the control.

In the dirty picture Vidya's passion grows so high at the end that she looses control on herself and ends her life. If you reach high and you are alone standing there, it is important that you become wiser and not let the keeda grow so large that it eats you.

Continue achieving...
Sustain what you have achieved.
Don't let it be like a film that is something before the interval and flows in other direction after the interval ;)

Great thanks to the Keeda or Passion inside us.
However, always do remember that you are the producer of your passion and Never let it be the other side.

Meeting with God

How far is your lord from you?

It's said that God has got a big wall at the entrance of his darbar. The door of this entrance is very narrow.
One carrying a high attitude and proud is too lengthy to enter in. One needs to drop all of his sense before entering. Only after dropping all of your knowledge one gets to see the Supreme Lord.

It is described in Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji by Kabir ji as

thujh bin surath karai ko maeree Dharasan Dheejai Kholih Kivaar ||1|| Rehaao ||
तुझ बिनु सुरति करै को मेरी दरसनु दीजै खोल्हि किवार ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Who else can take care of me, other than You? Please open Your door, and grant me the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan. ||1||Pause||

How does one feel on meeting with Lord?

One gets such excitement on meeting with god that he wants to express his feeling to the world. However, he feels scarcity of words for describing him. In Guru Granth Sahib Ji this is compared with the mute, who tastes the sweet candy and is extremely happy but unable to describe his happiness to the world. Only thing he can do is to smile.

Kahu Naanak Santhan ras aaee hai Jio Chaakh Goongaa Musakaarai ||2||1||20||
कहु नानक संतन रसु आई है जिउ चाखि गूंगा मुसकारै ॥२॥१॥२०॥
Says Nanak, the Saints savor this sublime essence, like the mute, who tastes the sweet candy, but only smiles. ||2||1||20||

Zinda hu Main (I am alive)

Whats alive in you?
In my point of view, your interests are alive. Your pains are alive...
Nevertheless, while enjoying life as per interests, you usually forget the reason of being alive.

Question that need to be answered are
for Whom are you alive?
for What purpose are you alive?

Know not just the meaning but also the purpose of being alive :-)

Sochaalaye

Soch kisi ko bhi kahi bhi aa sakti he. Insaan ise chosen place par prakat kar sakte he but Jaanwar nahi!!!

Now if you being Insaan have got the power to prakat your Soch, its important to prakat it at the right time and at the right place...agree? :D

Presentation does matter for Soch! It can be of different types depending on the situation.

To Soch on a regular basis is essential for good health (and in turn for wealth too).

Its a double meaning blog. Just replace Soch by Shouch, and read again ;)
qki Soch hamesha Sochaalaye mein hi aati he

Explore your Power

While we are being assigned a power, we are intimated the limited use and lots of rules!!!

It's said in Spider-man that with great power comes great responsibility. I think it is also important to explore the power assigned to know what all you can do. If Spider-man would not have jumped off the building roof to know if he can fly, how could he have learnt that!!!
Try coming out of window, maybe you also have got the same power.

Most of us fear to make full use of power. We utilize only the part, we are aware with and never dare to explore the rest. Until you spread your wings, you'll have no idea how far you can fly.

Some of  us fear that we might break any rules out of that long list of rules. However, what do I think is that it's up to the assignor to make proper checks and prevent us to do unwanted things. I think this is the attitude a Hacker needs to carry. "I will try whatsoever is possible. If possible prevent your application."

Be little careless,
Spread your wings and start flying,
Who knows, maybe you are Spider-Man 4 :-)
